Regionalisation

As part of Oxford University’s ongoing commitment to engage with schools and colleges a programme has been developed to facilitate communication between Oxford University and all schools and colleges in the United Kingdom. Each Oxford College is linked to a Local Authority to ensure that every school and college has a named first point of contact within the University.

St Hugh’s is proud to be linked with schools and colleges in the Kent region, and we have already been fortunate enough to have visited or arranged visits to Oxford for over twenty schools and colleges in the area so far. We are very keen to continue this work and encourage teachers to contact the college to organise such visits by emailing: admissions@st-hughs.ox.ac.uk.

Like every other Oxford College, St Hugh’s is committed to selecting the most academically able students irrespective of their background. We are developing this link to improve the way in which we communicate information, advice and guidance to students and teachers. The scheme will not have any bearing on the Oxford admissions process and does not influence whether a college offers a candidate a place.
