New Undergraduate Students
By now you should have received a pack containing lots of information about the College in the post. Please take the time to read everything; forms should be returned by Friday 1st September.
Undergraduate Freshers are asked to arrive at College between 9am – Noon on Monday 2nd October.
Before you arrive at St Hugh’s you may have some questions about coming up to Oxford; should you have any other queries which have not been addressed here, you are welcome to contact the College Office by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or telephoning 01865 274929.
- Registration for New Students
Registration happens in three steps.
Once you have returned your University Contract you will be sent, by email, your Single Sign On login details; using these you must complete the online registration process administered by the University. A guide to the University’s Student Self Service system can be found here.
The second part of the process happens when you first arrive in College; on the morning of Monday 5th October registration will be taking place in the Wordsworth Room, Main Building. At this point you will be given your University Card and directed to your room.
The process is then completed by College staff who confirm your attendance.
More information about Online Registration can be found on the University website.
- Freshers' Week
The College organizes a series of induction events for new students during 0th Week (the week starting Monday 2nd October); students must attend these events as well as academic events arranged by faculties/departments and libraries.
In addition to this, the Junior Common Room have arranged a number of social events.
