I have held a Research Fellowship in Computational Science since July 2011. This five-year position is associated with 2020 Science, a collaborative research programme based at the University of Oxford, University College London, and Microsoft Research, Cambridge. Prior to this I was funded by the Oxford Centre for Integrative Systems Biology as a postdoctoral researcher studying mathematical approaches to systems biology research. I completed my DPhil in Mathematical Biology at Oxford, supervised by Prof Jon Chapman and Dr Chris Breward. Previously, I was awarded an MSc in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing at Oxford, and obtained a MA in Mathematics at the University of Cambridge. At St Hugh's, I give tutorials in a number of second-year applied mathematics courses.

My research interests lie primarily in the development of mathematical methodologies and computational tools for tackling multiscale problems in systems biology. I am also interested in the application of these tools to specific well-defined biological problems. Further details of my research can be found on my Mathematical Institute webpages.
