One of the best ways to find out more about St Hugh’s is to visit us on one of our open days. Visitors will have the chance to meet some of our tutors and current undergraduates, explore our buildings and beautiful grounds, and ask questions of our Admissions and Outreach Officer.
Teachers and parents are also welcome to attend, and limited parking is available for school minibuses; there is no need to book in advance. Some accommodation is also available at £30 per person, per night (including dinner, bed and breakfast), and enquiries should be directed to the Admissions and Outreach Officer by email.
The open days in 2018 will take place between 9am and 6pm on:
Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th June, and Friday 14th September.
Join us for a sandwich lunch from 11am, ‘Meet our tutors‘ at 1.15pm, and partake of ‘Last-stop tea and cake‘ from 5pm; tours and refreshments available all day!
If you are travelling by car, using the Park and Ride is by far the easiest way of reaching the centre of Oxford. St Hugh’s is easily accessible from the Pear Tree and Water Eaton Park and Rides (buses from these stop at St Margaret’s Road, next to College), and is then only a short walk from the city centre. Why not join us for lunch before exploring St Hugh’s on a tour with our friendly undergraduates? There will also be an opportunity to meet our tutors from different subjects in the early afternoon, and the Admissions and Outreach Officer will be available to answer questions throughout the day. From 5pm, come along to our ‘last stop tea and cake’ for a relaxed end to your day.
