The ASM Charitable Trust
The ASM Charitable Trust, known as St Hugh’s Swans, is a small fund which exists to help St Hugh’s graduates experiencing temporary financial difficulty.
The Trust awards small grants to help graduates in particular need for various reasons. Grants have been made in the past to those whose personal circumstances have changed, for example following a career break taken to raise a family or care for an invalid, or as a result of relocation or ill health. In the current economic climate recent graduates may need funds to access work experience or a vocational course in order to enter the job market. At times when financial resources are limited the injection of some timely capital towards, perhaps, training, retraining or travel expenses to an interview or conference may help to initiate a journey towards a more secure future.
Should you feel that you might qualify for a grant from St Hugh’s Swans please e-mail Rosemary Alexander, College Accountant, or call +44 (0)1865 274903.
These grants cannot be made without the generosity of others since the Trust exists, in the main, thanks to donations made by graduates of St Hugh’s College. If you feel your experience at St Hugh’s gave you the opportunity to make the most of your life, please consider making a donation. A regular gift is much appreciated as it guarantees income, but any donation, however small, is greatly welcome. If you feel that you would be able to contribute towards helping the financial needs of other Senior Members, please download the form and gift aid declaration or see the Chronicle for further details.
