Supporting College

A Graduate StudentPages in this section

St Hugh’s is strongly guided by its original purpose – enabling access to an Oxford education for women lesser means. We admit the most able male and female students, irrespective of their background. We are committed to maintaining and enhancing our intellectual capital and extremely grateful for the support shown by our Senior Members and friends. However, we are not a wealthy college. St Hugh’s has an endowment that is the third lowest of all the undergraduate colleges and we receive less than 30% of the resource we require to operate from government grants and fees.

The document below, which we call our Case for Support, outlines our need to fundraise and current priorities. In the other pages in this section, you will find information on leaving a legacy to St Hugh’s, our regular giving programme, how to make a gift to College and our donor charter which summarises the commitments that we make to our donors.

You can help us by contributing your support to an area of need at College. Any size of gift makes a difference to what we are able to achieve. Please consider lending us your support today.
