About our guest speaker
Charlie Curtis is a Director/Founder of two award-winning start-ups: DryGro which grows crops in deserts using 99% less water and Origen Power which generates electricity whilst removing carbon dioxide from the air.
He specialises in driving commercial returns from corporate innovation, both at the programme level and working with specific venture teams. Since 1999 he has worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs in organisations such as BMW, Barclays, BP, Shell, Centrica, RBS, Disney, Pearson, Amcor in the UK, USA, India, Africa and Australia. He has also worked with not-for-profits including Carbon Trust, Which?, The Young Foundation and Scope.
He is an Entrepreneurship Expert with the Entrepreneurship Centre, Saïd Business School, where he also mentors and lectures on the Rethinking Business course.
