Les Mills BodyPump Class

From 23rd January 2017, St Hugh’s College will be offering the world famous Les Mills BodyPump classes to all students, staff and Fellows of the College.  Classes run at an extremely reasonable £5.50 per class, or you can book a course of 8 classes at a discounted price of £38.50.

We will run two classes per week, in the JCR Bar.

On Mondays, classes will be led by Steven Clarke – an accredited Les Mills BodyPump instructor who has taught in and around Oxford for a number of years.  Steven’s classes will run from 6pm to 7pm.

On Fridays, classes will be led by Maie Khalil. Maie is also an accredited Les Mills BodyPump instructor and also a graduate student of St Hugh’s.  Her classes will run from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.

PLEASE NOTE that due to an unavoidable clash with her academic timetable, Maie will not be available to take the class at 4:30pm on 10th March.  This class will therefore be held on Thursday 9th March at 6pm.

Booking and payment for classes is online *only*.  Neither Steven nor Maie will accept registration or payment ‘on the door’.  Booking for each class remains open until the class is fully booked or until one hour before the class begins.  Each class can take a maximum of 19 students.

All equipment is provided.  You need only bring yourself, a bottle of water and possibly a small towel.  Dress appropriately for exercise!

Ticket sales are strictly non-refundable, unfortunately (unless College cancels classes).  We are running these classes as a trial, and we want to provide a service to St Hugh’s members without giving our excellent colleagues even more work to do!

What is BodyPump?

BODYPUMP is a weights class for absolutely everyone. This form of weight training will make you toned, lean and fit.
Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition (reps), BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout that burns lots of calories. It’ll also tone and shape your body, without adding bulky muscles. The rep effect — a scientifically proven Les Mills formula – is the secret to developing lean athletic muscle without the need for heavy weights.

The encouragement, motivation and great music you get in a BODYPUMP class will help you achieve much more than you would be able to on your own!

Just Getting Started?
