Join St Hugh’s alumni and friends for a free networking breakfast in New York on the morning of 12 April 2019, 8.30am-10.30am. The event will be held at the University of Oxford, North American Office on Fifth Avenue. We are honoured to welcome St Hugh’s Fellow Gabriele De Luca, as our guest speaker for this event. Professor De Luca will give a fascinating talk on the history of St Hugh’s as a Military Hospital for Head Injuries during World War II and his cutting edge research on the impact of traumatic brain injury on the development of Alzheimer’s Disease-related pathology. Professor De Luca is Associate Professor Clinical Neurology in the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Oxford and Director of Clinical Neurosciences Undergraduate Education at Oxford Medical School.
