Registrations are now open for you to take part in the 36th Oxford Town and Gown 10k on Sunday 14 May. Join the St Hugh’s College Team and run the fast, flat 10k route around the closed streets, parks and rivers of Oxford, all in aid of Muscular Dystrophy UK. All runners receive a Team T Shirt and are invited to a brunch in College after the race.
The Town and Gown 10k university city route is unique and scenic, which makes it perfect for all runners, including beginners who want to run their first 10k race, as well as the more experienced runners who hope to beat their personal bests.
The event is organised by and in aid of Muscular Dystrophy UK – the charity for 70,000 people living with muscle-wasting conditions in the UK. So far the Town and Gown 10k series has raised over £1.9 million, which is all down to the dedication of participants who sign up to the events and fundraise for the charity.
You can enter the race here. Don’t forget to ensure you select ‘Join a team’ and add ‘St Hugh’s College’ when prompted. There is a prize for the largest team.
Your entry fee to the race represents your charity donation, but if you’d like to raise more money, please direct your sponsors to the College Just Giving page.
Please register to enter the race at https://www.townandgown10k.com/register/
