Reunion Dinner: 1973-1977

St Hugh’s alumnae who matriculated between 1973 and 1977 are warmly invited to a very special reunion dinner in College on Saturday 20 November 2021, 6.30pm until late.

The evening will open with a drinks reception at 6.30pm, followed by a formal dinner. During the drinks reception, you will have the opportunity to view our latest exhibition, which features works by celebrated photographer Nancy Sheung (1914-1979). A cash bar will be open after dinner for those who wish to continue celebrating.

You are most welcome to bring a guest.

Booking Information

Tickets for the reception and four-course dinner are £55 for alumnae and £75 for guests. These ticket prices include wine and port during the meal. To book, please fill out our booking form below. Tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, so please book early to avoid disappointment, and by 1 November 2021 at the latest. We will do our very best to accommodate any seating requests listed on your booking form.

When you book your ticket, you will be given the option of making an additional donation to support the Catherine Ennis Organ Scholarships Fund. The fund was established in 2021 to endow the organ scholarships at St Hugh’s and name them in honour of the late Catherine Ennis (Music, 1973), one of the UK’s leading organists. Catherine sadly died of cancer on Christmas Eve 2020. We hope that you will consider making a donation to the fund, and would like to express our deepest thanks to all those who have already contributed.

Lost Touch?

If you would like to attend the dinner as part of a group, but have lost touch with some of your contemporaries, please contact the Development Team on development.office@st-hughs.ox.ac.uk and we will be happy to help reconnect you.

Accommodation

Due to the high number of students on course this academic year, we are unfortunately unable to offer B&B accommodation during term time. For a list of some local accommodation options, including details of exclusive discounts available to St Hugh’s alumnae attending this event, please see your invitation or contact the Development Team on development.office@st-hughs.ox.ac.uk.

While we hope very much that the event will be able to go ahead as planned, these are clearly uncertain times, and there is always the risk that we might be forced to cancel the event due to the pandemic. We would therefore urge guests to consider booking accommodation with a generous cancellation policy.
