Livestream: The Lady Ademola Lecture with Professor Essaka Joshua

All members of the St Hugh’s College community are warmly invited to watch the livestreamed Lady Ademola Lecture to be given by Professor Essaka Joshua, entitled: “Approaching Disability and Race in British Literature 1780-1840”, on Thursday 3 November 2022, 5:30pm-6:30pm (UK time).

Essaka Joshua has published three monographs and numerous articles and chapters on Romantic and Victorian literature. Joshua currently specializes in Disability Studies and is engaged in a book project on disability in British Romantic theatre.

Professor Joshua is Associate Professor of English at the University of Notre Dame.

This lecture will be livestreamed. To register, please fill in the booking form below by 5pm on Wednesday 2 November. You will have the opportunity to suggest questions for Professor Joshua on your booking form, and you will also be able to submit your questions on the day.

The event is free, but we ask you to consider making a donation to the College’s Lady Ademola Fund when you book your ticket.
