2024 Telethon Campaign

2024 Telethon Campaign

We are tremendously excited to announce that this year’s Telethon Campaign will run 12-25 March. Our students are keen to share College news with you, to gather your feedback on our events and activities, as well as talk to you about your experiences since leaving St Hugh’s. In addition, we ask that you consider making a donation towards the Annual Appeal. To find out more information and to support the College with a one-off or regular gift, please click here.

We hope that you enjoy hearing from one of our current students, as much as they will enjoy speaking with you.

Please note that in order to ensure that our team of student callers deliver the best experience possible, calls may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes.

Meet Your Student Callers

I’m a fourth year Classicist, so I’ve been at Hugh’s for a while now and sadly my time here is coming towards its end! During my time at St Hugh’s I’ve been on the JCR committee, done college rowing, and been fortunate enough to meet some friends for life.

I’m Deanna, a second year music student and Disabled Students’ Rep at St Hugh’s. I’ve taken a strong liking to the interactions between philosophy and music, and outside of my degree, I enjoy musical theatre, taking part in various productions around Oxford either in the band or as a musical director. Beyond those, I also enjoy playing social deduction board games.

Nicola CarotenutoNicola Caritenuto

I’m a fourth-year DPhil student in medieval history. My research focuses on the development of the economy of the fourteenth-century Mediterranean, with a particular focus on Venice. In my free time, I likes reading, travelling, and learning new languages.

Thomas CowanThomas Cowan

Hi! I’m Thomas, a second year historian. I’ve enjoyed studying everything from medieval Britain to the Industrial Revolution, but the period I am most interested in is modern Chinese history. I’m also involved in editing for the OxStu newspaper, and I am secretary for Oxford University Mixed Martial Arts society!
