Year Abroad Grants
Year Abroad Grants support undergraduate students of Modern Languages undertaking an approved year abroad as part of their degree.
Award Level
- The Year Abroad Grant is up to £1,200 per student
- One award per year abroad
- Awarded between the start of the summer vacation that precedes the year abroad and the start of academic year that follows the year abroad
Application Process
- Students should fill out the form below
- Applications will be considered upon confirmation by the organising tutor in the relevant modern language that the student is in good academic standing
- Please note that applications cannot be retroactive
