Visiting the College

Founded in 1886, a modern college by Oxford’s standards, St Hugh’s has a rich history which has formed its current character as a progressive college, dedicated to academic endeavour.

If you are a member of the public who would like to visit St Hugh’s College, please contact hello@st-hughs.ox.ac.uk. If you are thinking of studying at St Hugh’s College, our Admissions Coordinator would be happy to introduce you to College and advise you on the application process. If you are a Senior Member of the College, our Development team are always happy to welcome you back to College. All visitors should report to the College Lodge on St Margaret’s Road.

We are a short distance from Oxford city centre and it’s a lovely walk along either Banbury Road or Woodstock Road. If you would prefer to hop on the bus, the Oxford Bus Company runs services along Woodstock Road (city6) and Banbury Road (city2). If you are travelling from further afield, you can make use of the Oxford City Council Park and Ride. Free car parking is available for up to two hours on St Margaret’s Road. If you have any accessibility requirements, please discuss these with the person arranging your visit.
