Deposit Refund
All undergraduates will have paid deposits for accommodation and library books at the start of their course, these deposits are refundable and will be paid back to you following your departure and room check.
- Ensure the Finance Office in College has your bank details to enable a Room Deposit Refund, once you have vacated and no damage invoices/charges have been raised, and Library Deposit Refund, when all your books have been returned. If you have a personal direct debit in place the Finance Office will action within 14 days of your leaving.
- If you have been paying your invoices/accommodation via direct debit these account details will be used to process your refund.
- If do not have a direct debit in place you will need to complete the student refund form.
- International students will need to complete this same student refund form but please note there will be a bank charge of £15.00 deducted due to it being an international account.
2024 Leavers’ Gift
Now that you have completed your studies, we would like to ask you to consider supporting the College’s Library Fund. This fund enables the College Library to broaden its collection, especially with books that have prohibitive costs for students, so that all of our students, regardless of their financial situation, may thrive in their programme while studying at St Hugh’s.
Leavers’ gifts can be made via the student refund form attached, or at any time through the St Hugh’s Alumni page.
Meal card refund
- If you have been topping up your meal card using the Upay app you will need to log onto your account and cancel it requesting a refund.
- If you have not been topping up using Upay please indicate this on your refund form to ensure a refund is processed for your card balance with your deposit refund.
Please ensure your refund document is emailed back to finance.office@st-hughs.ox.ac.uk as soon as possible; refunds will be processed up to 21 days following your departure and satisfactory room check.
