It is with sadness that we share the news that David Trendell, former lecturer in Music at St Hugh’s College, has died. David was most recently at King’s College London where he held a joint post within the Dean’s Office as College Organist and Director of Music for the Chapel Choir, and as a Senior Lecturer in the Music Department within Arts and Humanities. It appears that he died in his sleep at home during Monday night/Tuesday morning (27/28 October) having conducted the Chapel Choir rehearsal on Monday evening.
