St Hugh’s lights up as students and staff enjoy fireworks display

Fireworks taking off over College

St Hugh’s Principal, Dame Elish, welcomed students and staff to a wonderful evening of food and fireworks last week – the first all College event this year. College catering provided delicious chilli and baked potatoes which everyone devoured while listening to music played by two bands from the JCR. As the photographs below illustrate the fireworks display lit up the sky above College and was spectacular!

Thank you to everyone involved in organising this event for all their hard work and special thanks to the two bands for performing for us: first band: Ollie Jakes & George Griffiths and second band: Sonali Goel, Richard Li and Alex Orr.
