The St Hugh’s Coast Run tally!

Outreach Officer Lena Sorochina has completed the first St Hugh’s Coast Run!

The run was a massive outreach project in which she…

  • visited 13 schools
  • spoke to 656 pupils
  • ran 140 kilometres
  • went through 22 towns and villages
  • and met 33 teachers

We were thrilled to make contact with 6 schools we’d never had contact with before.

She spoke to pupils about higher education, applying to Oxford, course choice, and student life.

The Coast Run took place between the 8th and 12 July 2019. Thank you to all the schools and teachers who made this possible!

Here are some pictures of the beautiful scenery along the route.
