Congratulations to father and son who matriculated at the same ceremony

While congratulations are due to all of our students who matriculated on Saturday 19^th October, the College would like to make a special mention of Fergus Cochrane-Dyet OBE, and his son, Will Cochrane-Dyet.

Fergus, 54, was Britain’s High Commissioner to Zambia, and is on a sabbatical from the Foreign Office to undertake an MSc in African Studies here at St Hugh’s, and said it was a wonderful coincidence.

Will, 23, is at St Edmund Hall studying for an MPhil in Modern Middle East Studies and Arabic.
