Dr Carol Atack, Tutor in Classics, was interviewed about free speech in Greece and Rome for BBC Radio 4’s Analysis programme. The interview, broadcast on Monday 9 February, was part of a programme examining the limits of free speech and the right to cause offence. Presenter Edward Stourton spoke to historians, theologians and philosophers to explore the outer limits of free expression. The programme is available on BBC iPlayer Radio.
