Join us for a fantastic evening celebrating the proud history and brilliant spirit of St Hugh’s rowing! After four days of racing, we’ll be bringing together current rowers, alumni, students and friends of SHBC for a lively evening of stories, celebrations, and plenty of Boat Club spirit.
It’s already been an exciting year for SHBC, with strong performances across the squads and lots of progress throughout the club. We’ve raced hard, achieved some brilliant results, and continued to build momentum thanks to the dedication of our crews and the support of our full-time coach, whose work has played a huge part in shaping and strengthening the club this year.
2026 also marks some special Boat Club anniversaries:
20-year anniversary of blades for M1, W1, and W2
15-year anniversary of blades for M2
45-year anniversary of the 1981 blades-winning crew.
We’d love to welcome members of these crews back to St Hugh’s to celebrate with us. We’d love the chance for past and present rowers to come together, share memories, swap stories, and celebrate everything that makes SHBC such a special community.
