Professor Horst Eidenmüller appointed to advisory council of the German Academy of Science and Engineering

Freshfields Professor of Commercial Law Horst Eidenmüller has been appointed to the emerging technologies advisory council of Acatech, the German Academy of Science and Engineering.

Acatech’s members are leading researchers drawn from engineering and the natural sciences, but also from the humanities and the social sciences.  Acatech’s mission is to support policy-makers and society at large by providing qualified technical evaluations and forward-looking recommendations.  Its emerging technologies advisory council advises Acatech on fruitful new research fields related to novel and potentially disruptive technological developments.
