Alumni & Friends

A diverse global community of passionate and curious individuals, united by a shared transformative experience.

When you join St Hugh’s, you become part of an active network over 10,000 strong. From teachers to technicians, CEOs to comedians, former students have gone on to make a difference across all levels of society, all over the globe. The Development & Alumni Office works to keep alumni connected with each other and the College through regular events and communications. St Hugh’s is your College for life, and as an alumnus you will always be welcomed back for a visit and a walk in the gardens.

The Development Office is also responsible for all aspects of fundraising for core College priorities. We work very closely with our academics to support their research areas as well as working to provide funding for students whether for scholarships, bursaries or hardship funds. Please visit the Supporting the College page to find out more about how you can make a real difference to life at the Collge.

We have alumni groups meeting both formally and informally all over the world, and we are always looking to strengthen and support these communities. In addition, our programme of activities looks to help prepare our current student body for the fast-changing world of work. If you would like to play our part in any aspect of our work, we would love to hear from you. Please contact us either via email (development.office@st-hughs.ox.ac.uk) or over the phone (+44 (0)1865 613839).

The St Hugh’s Alumni Association

The Alumni Association works alongside the Development Office. Its aim is to promote continuing contact among Alumni and with College, drawing on a shared experience of friendship and scholarly adventure first encountered as students at St Hugh’s. Currently the Alumni Association organises an annual lunch and lecture, as well as its AGM held before the College Carol Service.
