Dr Claudia Schrag Sternberg awarded UACES Prize

Dr Claudia Schrag Sternberg has been awarded the UACES Prize for Best Book in Contemporary European Studies for her book The Struggle for EU Legitimacy: Public Contestation, 1950-2005.

In giving the award UACES Chair Helen Drake commented: “Claudia’s book was heralded by one member of the jury as a ‘Major contribution to the literature which brings together many threads and makes sense of them, building a highly original argument that will shape future research agendas.’”

Dr Claudia Schrag Sternberg is a Career Development Fellow in Politics at St Hugh’s College.

UACES is the academic association for Contemporary European Studies. It is a membership organisation for academics, students and practitioners who are interested in all aspects of Europe and the European Union.
