Lady Justice Heather Hallett (Law, 1968) appointed to the House of Lords

The College would like to publicly offer its congratulations to our alumna, the Rt Hon Dame Heather Hallett QC, on her appointment to the peerage.

Lady Justice Hallett is currently the Vice President of the Court of Appeal Criminal Division.

She said, “I am delighted to be given the opportunity to continue in public service after my retirement and relish the challenges ahead.”

The appointment was made in the resignation honours list of former Prime Minister Theresa May (Geography, 1974).
