St Hugh’s Garden Party

Guests chatting at the Garden Party

On Saturday 22 June we welcomed over 600 alumni and friends from far and wide to the annual St Hugh’s Garden Party held in the College’s beautiful gardens.

Guests enjoyed a fun-packed sunny afternoon of entertainment including circus skills workshops, crazy golf, giant chess, face painting and a live jazz band. Perhaps the highlight of the day was the St Hugh’s Dog Show where awards were given for the best trick, the best-behaved dog and even the scruffiest dog!

Guests were treated to a traditional St Hugh’s afternoon tea of sandwiches, cakes and scones with jam and cream; and there were ice cream vans who served 570 ice creams, lollipops and slushies!

Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a special day, including six student assistants who worked really hard and were superb ambassadors for the College.

Below are some photos taken at the Garden Party.
