Alumni Business Breakfast: “Think like a Brand”

We were delighted to welcome our alumni to a recent Business Breakfast at the Museum of Brands in London, where our two distinguished speakers: alumna and brand marketer, Umeeda Nathoo (née Bhaloo, Modern Languages, 1994) and Dr Alex Connock, St Hugh’s Lecturer in Management and Senior Fellow at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School; delivered a thought provoking presentation entitled “Think Like a Brand”.

Umeeda discussed how branding has evolved and why it is so important for companies to build a brand; while Alex looked at how we value a brand, including how alumni think of St Hugh’s as a brand, as well as an overview of the College’s branding over the years. The world-cloud below was created when guests were asked in advance of the session to describe St Hugh’s, the brand.

We would like to thank our speakers, Umeeda and Alex, for taking the time to come and share their expertise.
