Artist Yoshihiro Takada presents St Hugh’s with new painting

A new painting by Yoshihiro Takada is being exhibited in the College, following the artist’s generous gift of the work to St Hugh’s.

The painting is in the style of a classical Japanese flower drawing, and is entitled ‘Morning Glory’.

It was presented to Professor Roy Westbrook and Professor John Morris earlier this month as thanks by Mr Takada, after he spent the summer at St Hugh’s working on a variety of drawings all over the College. They expressed their thanks on St Hugh’s behalf for the generous gift, which is now being exhibited in the main entrance of the College.
