Classics Taster Day: Friday 19 June 2015

St Hugh’s College is holding a Classics Taster Day on 19 June 2015. Schools are invited to nominate Year 11 and 12 students who might be interested in taking part.

The day will run from 10.00am to 4.30pm, and will involve two Academic Taster Sessions with Classics tutors, a Q&A with current students, lunch in the College Dining Hall, a tour of College, an Admissions talk on what tutors are looking for, and a workshop at the world-famous Ashmolean Museum. The day is free of charge; spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Attendees don’t need to be studying Latin, Greek or Classical Civilisation – the only requirement is an interest in Classics, and the desire to find out more about studying a Classical course at University.

Unfortunately this event is now fully booked, please contact admissions@st-hughs.ox.ac.uk if you would like further information on studying Classics at St Hugh’s College.
