Congratulations to father and son who matriculated at the same ceremony

While congratulations are due to all of our students who matriculated on Saturday 19th October, the College would like to make a special mention of Fergus Cochrane-Dyet OBE, and his son, Will Cochrane-Dyet.

Fergus, 54, was Britain’s High Commissioner to Zambia, and is on a sabbatical from the Foreign Office to undertake an MSc in African Studies here at St Hugh’s, and said it was a wonderful coincidence.

Will, 23, is at St Edmund Hall studying for an MPhil in Modern Middle East Studies and Arabic.
