St Hugh’s does not offer parking to students, irrespective of whether they live on or off-site. This decision reflects the College’s commitment to reducing air pollution and congestion across Oxford.
Parking for students may be granted in exceptional circumstances, specifically:
Disability: Students with a recognised disability who hold a Blue Badge. Blue Badge holders may also park in the designated bays on St Margaret’s Road and Canterbury Road.
Remote academic placements: Where a placement is required for the completion of your degree, and where the placement cannot be accessed by public transport, temporary parking may be possible. Evidence will be required to demonstrate that public transport cannot be used, and permission will only cover the duration of the placement.
