Your Single Sign On (SSO) username and password are part of a central authentication system which allows you to access various online services associated with the University.
Your Oxford username usually takes the form shug1234 (shug is the college code for St Hugh’s). If you have previously been associated with another college or department, this code may be different, as you keep the code you were first allocated. Everyone has their own unique SSO login and you must not share your account information with anyone else.
Upon joining the University, you will receive an activation code by email from the IT services; you need to activate your SSO with this code before you can use it. You can set up your SSO here (choose option 1), as well as manage your SSO account e.g. change or reset your password. If you have not received an activation code, do let us know at it-support@st-hughs.ox.ac.uk.
