After a hiatus during Covid, the St Hugh’s Alumni Association is delighted to be resuming its annual lunch and lecture, 12:30-2:30pm on Saturday 25 March.
Professor Robert Vilain, the Senior Tutor, has kindly offered to give a talk entitled “Oxford Now and Then: Reflections on Change and New Perspectives“, looking at how Oxford has changed from his undergraduate days in the 1980s to now, and how one’s viewpoint changes from undergraduate, to postgraduate, to tutor, to senior tutor. He is open to being quizzed on this, and we hope it will stimulate a lot of discussion!
There will also be a fascinating literary display of books by and about St Hugh’s people.
The cost for a cold buffet is £10 per head (book below). All members of the Association, which of course also includes JCR and MCR members, are eligible to attend and bring partners or friends.
