Many congratulations to Professor Alison Noble

Professor Alison Noble

We are extremely proud of St Hugh’s alumna and Honorary Fellow, Professor Alison Noble (Engineering Science, 1983), for being the recipient of the 2019 Gabor Medal from the Royal Society.

Professor Noble will receive the Gabor Medal in November, “for developing solutions to a number of key problems in biomedical image analysis and substantially advancing automatic extraction of clinically useful information from medical ultrasound scans.”

The College offers its warmest congratulations to Professor Noble on this remarkable success.
