Development Director (Interim)

 University Grade 10 or ALC-6 (Salary dependent on experience).

37.5 hours per week (weekend and evening flexibility will be required)

St Hugh’s College seeks a Development Director to lead the Development Office on an interim basis.  This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fundraising and alumni relations professional.

This is a 12-month fixed-term appointment to lead on developing the strategy and operational plan for a major capital campaign ahead of the College’s 150th anniversary in 2036. The interim Director will also be responsible for our alumni relations and philanthropic giving during the transition to and onboarding of the new Principal who takes office in September 2025.

The Development Director will also take ownership over the Development Office’s overall data management and fundraising systems, and will line-manage the Head of Alumni Engagement and Development Manager.

The successful candidate will have a passion for fundraising and building relationships with alumni and other key stakeholders.
