Lorraine Hare joined St Hugh’s College in October 2021 as our new Deputy Director of Development. With more than ten years’ experience in fundraising in both the US and UK, Lorraine is passionate about the power of philanthropy to advance positive change, particularly in higher education.
Lorraine comes to St Hugh’s from Oriel College, where she was Head of Development. Prior to that, she worked in fundraising in the United States at Cornell University and the University of New Mexico and led campaigns and community relations efforts for Dogs Trust in her hometown of Glasgow.
Lorraine has an MA in English language and literature from the University of Glasgow.
