St Hugh’s Engineering undergraduate student awarded Fellowship to study at Havard
Congratulations to St Hugh’s fourth year Engineering undergraduate Tracey Saber who has been awarded the prestigious Michael von Clemm Fellowship by Corpus Christi College, Oxford. Tracey will spend a fully-funded year as a Special Student at Harvard University.
The Michael von Clemm Fellowship is highly competitive, with only a single Oxford student or recent alumnus selected annually to receive a fully-funded year of study. The Fellowship is named in memory of Michael von Clemm (1935-97), who was a graduate of Harvard and a graduate student (and later an Honorary Fellow) of Corpus Christi College, Oxford.
Michael von Clemm Fellows are encouraged to explore subject areas that they may not have studied before. During her year at Harvard, Tracey will be doing research on fluid mechanics taking classes on environmental policy. Commenting on her award, Tracey said, ‘I am so grateful for everything I’ve learned and experienced at St Hugh’s. I’ll definitely miss it, but I’m really looking forward to heading to Harvard and exploring new things.’
