“Snapshot 2020” Exhibition

Each term, we put on a display of items from the library and archive collections in our library exhibition cases.

Inspired by the nationwide project Rankin’s 2020 we would like to invite students, fellows, staff and alumni to send us photographs that capture their experience of and feelings about this strange time that we are living in.

We will then make a selection for inclusion in our “Snapshot 2020” exhibition and we will also, eventually, create an online gallery of images on the College website for everyone to enjoy.

You can send your photographs to archivist@st-hughs.ox.ac.uk – the deadline for submissions is Friday 11th December.

T&Cs

  1. All photographs must have been taken by a member of college and their name must be included in the submission.
  2. Photographs deemed inappropriate will not be included and the College reserves the right to exclude any photograph.
  3. Photographs in the library’s physical display will not carry any captions but the submission may also include a title or description that may be included in the online gallery, along with the contributor’s name (unless you specify that you would like it to remain anonymous).
  4. A maximum of three photographs may be submitted.
