Time is racing towards Town & Gown 2024

The next Town and Gown will take place on Sunday 12 May 2024 and we would love members of our College community to run (or walk!) as part of the St Hugh’s team. Last year we fielded the largest team in the race and it would be great to claim the title again this year.

Oxford Town and Gown  was started in 1982 by local runners as a fun run to raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy and still to this day all profits from the race go to Muscular Dystrophy UK. The unique route is the only closed-road city centre 10k in Oxford with a glorious stretch along the River Cherwell and finishing in the University Parks.

All runners in the College team will be given a free t-shirt or vest for the race by the College and a free brunch at College afterwards.

Register to take part now and join the College team!*

*Make sure you click ‘Join a Team’ when you register, and then you can select St Hugh’s College from the menu.

Please contact St Hugh’s Communications Manager if you have any queries about the day.
