Vacation Courses and Travel Grants
Travel Grants support academic or personal development activities relevant to your degree, including fieldwork, research visits, language courses, conferences, or other academically related experiences.
Award Level
- Typical award: £500–£700 per student
- One application per academic term
Before You Apply
You must first check whether your department can support your travel.
The Committee assumes you explored full use of departmental and other available sources of funding.
Eligibility
Travel must be:
- directly relevant to your degree or academic development
- clearly costed and justified
- applied for before travel takes place
- Supported via a written statement by your tutor or supervisor
MBA treks cannot be funded, as they are not academically required.
