News of the passing of St Hugh’s Fellow and friend, Glen Loutzenhiser

Our colleague Glen Loutzenhiser passed away on Sunday evening at the age of 55, after a two-year struggle with cancer. He was one of the leading tax lawyers in the country and a key member of the law group in College and the wider St Hugh’s community. Glen spoke of his illness and knowledge of the threat to his life seldom. He was keen to keep up his teaching and work at the college he loved, with as little departure from normal life as possible. Not everyone will be aware of his illness and his sudden death now comes as a profound shock. He was held in the highest regard by his friends, colleagues and students across St Hugh’s College. We offer our condolences and support to Eleanor his wife and Toby his son and all who mourn him.

Lady Elish Angiolini, Principal
