St Hugh's opens its doors

Oxford Open Doors is a weekend which celebrates Oxford’s heritage and culture by giving you the chance to get behind Oxford’s closed doors.  Colleges, university buildings and green spaces together with a range of the City’s other varied and hidden heritage across gown and town are open for you to explore.

St Hugh’s College is delighted to welcome Oxford Open Doors visitors from 10.00am until 4.00pm on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 September. St Hugh’s college opened in 1886 to offer an Oxford University education to women. You can stroll around our tranquil 14-acre site of beautifully landscaped gardens as well as the Chapel and the Dining Hall.

Informative self-guided tour leaflets are available from the Porters’ Lodge (St Margaret’s Road entrance). Visitors should report to the Lodge to be admitted into the College where they will be given a copy of the self-guided tour booklet. There will be no formal tours and no refreshments available.

We look forward to seeing you at the College.
