Senior HR Advisor

£35,724-£43,446 per annum

37.5 hours per week (flexible working options available)

St Hugh’s College seeks a Senior HR Advisor to join its friendly HR Department on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the successful postholder will support the day-to-day operation of the College’s HR function.  The department is responsible for the entire employment life cycle of academic and support staff and aims to provide a professional service, ensuring up- to- date application of employment law and best practice in line with business needs. The HR team is fully involved in engagement across College, supporting the development of a friendly and inclusive community.

The successful candidate will be an experienced HR practitioner, CIPD qualified or with equivalent experience, and will be able to demonstrate a sound track record of advising and working with managers on people management issues.  They will have excellent communication and influencing skills, and be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of HR policy, workforce issues, change management and complex casework.

The College is seeking someone who has the ability to form effective working relationships at all levels and can quickly build rapport.
