Interests:
I am a senior scientist working at the OPPF-UK. My main area of responsibility is the high through-put (HTP) cloning and small scale expression screening part of the pipeline. I have developed both expression vectors and methodologies to facilitate the expression of both soluble and membrane proteins and have published many of these protocols. I am also an experienced protein chemist. In addition, I have taught HTP laboratory techniques to visitors and am a lecturer at St Hugh’s College.
Biography:
I received my BA in Biochemistry from Oxford in 1988, followed by my DPhil in Genetic Engineering of Brewing Yeast in 1992.
