St Hugh’s alumnae recognised in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours

We are delighted to offer our congratulations to St Hugh’s alumnae, Rebecca Ellis CBE (Law, 1998) and Genevieve Carnell BEM (History, 2011)  who have been recognised in the 2022 New Year’s Honours.

Rebecca, Director, Task Force Europe at 10 Downing Street was awarded The Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for Public Service.

Genevieve was awarded Medallist of the Order of the British Empire (BEM) for services to the community in Woodford, London Borough of Redbridge during COVID-19.
