St Hugh’s Tutorial Fellow in Philosophy debates: Is the universe infinite?

In the latest episode of ‘A Philosopher and a Child’, Professor Adrian Moore FBA, St Hugh’s Tutorial Fellow in Philosophy and Joint Editor of Mind is joined once again by Cara Margiotta. In the fifth episode of this series: ‘Can a child outsmart an Oxford philosopher?’, Cara takes on Professor Moore, one of the world’s leading philosophers of mathematics, to answer a timeless question: does infinity exist? In particular could the universe be infinitely big and could it be infinitely old?
