St Hugh’s College offers its congratulations to the Rt Hon Theresa May MP on the news that she is to be appointed as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. This is an outstanding achievement for a member of our College.

Mrs May studied Geography at St Hugh’s between 1974 and 1977. She follows in a strong tradition of illustrious alumnae from St Hugh’s College, with The Rt Hon Baroness Barbara Castle, Aung San Suu Kyi, The Rt Hon Nicky Morgan MP, and Sarah Outen MBE among many others.
