St Hugh’s has been a distinctive community and centre of academic excellence since 1886. As an inclusive and thoughtful academic community, the College has been shaped by philanthropy, beginning with Elizabeth Wordsworth’s founding gift. Her initial act of benefaction established an enduring tradition, carried forward by generations of alumni whose ongoing support has helped create an exceptional environment for students and scholars alike.
This year we have identified four areas where gifts could address some of the most important pressing needs within College, as well as to support regular costs of core activities. Read on to find out more about how your generosity could make a targeted difference this year.
