Congratulations to Julia Millard, MBE who has been recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2022
We are delighted to offer our congratulations to St Hugh's alumna, Julia Millard (née Lehmann) (History, 1987) who has been awarded an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours 2022 for services to education. Julia, who lives in Meadowfield, County Durham, received an MBE after stepping up to be chair of governors at not just one but three schools: Langley Moor Nursery, Langley Moor Primary School and Durham Community Business College; and helping to shape education across the North East.
